Artwork Submission Guidelines

How can I submit artwork?

There are several ways to submit your image. The easiest way is to email us at artwork@aboutimages.com and attach your digital pictures or artwork. This way you can give us specific instructions in your e-mail. Or you can mail us your photo or electronic media (3.5 floppy or CD-R). Mail to: About Images, LLC, P.O. Box 145, Highland, Maryland, 20777-0145 Photographs mailed to us will be scanned for free and returned to you with your order.

What digital file formats do you accept?

About Images uses the PC format for all digital artwork. We will accept *.jpg, *.tif, *.gif, *.bmp, *.psd, *.eps, *.cdr, *.wmf, and *.psp.  When submitting a logo, please use camera-ready artwork in vector format. There is a $50.00 Conversion Charge to convert raster images to vector format. Camera-ready artwork is a clean crisp copy of the original with good color separation.

What about my picture quality?

It is important to start off with a good quality clear picture or a clear high-resolution digital picture so that we get a good quality final product. When submitting photos, please make sure that the actual photo size is equal or larger than the imprint area, this way if reductions are necessary we will have the maximum digital information to work with. Please submit digital photos with 300ppi or higher. The main thing to remember is that to get a great looking finished product, you need to start off with a good high quality photograph. If your photos do not meet these guidelines, we will do our best to provide you with a good quality reprint using your best photo.

What if my picture needs work?

All purchases include basic photo editing services for free which includes enlarging, touchup, color correction. We will even throw in free basic text up to 30 characters.

What about color matching?

About Images will get your color matched as precisely as possible. However, due to the variations of monitors, substrates, and individual perception, we cannot guaranty exact color matching.
